Many refugees and asylum seekers accepted into Australia are on a temporary VISA that does not allow them to be employed or receive government support. Therefore, organisations like the Brigidine Asylum Seeker Project (BASP) are their only source of food and basic necessities – they’re reliant on the kindness of strangers! The Clonard Living Justly students have organised a Christmas Food Drive to collect the necessities to help out asylum seeker families doing it tough this year. All donations will go directly to BASP.

We ask that Clonard families do what they can to donate any items from the below list. A donation box is located in the main office for any and all donations. We will be keenly accepting donations until the end of the school year. Please note that we are unable to accept any opened, expired or perishable goods.
