After an incredible day at our annual Swimming Carnival back in February, the results are in! Our Houses, along with our outstanding swimmers and divers, have now been awarded their trophies.

Two records were shattered on the day—Sacha R set a new record in the 200m Individual, while the Year 12 4x50m Freestyle Relay team also claimed a record-breaking victory.

Once again, Finian dominated across all events—a true testament to the leadership and dedication of our Senior Leaders, Summer R & Ruby G, Intermediate Leaders Caitlin W & Georgia J, and Junior House Leaders Piper R & Leni Q.

This year’s carnival was especially significant for our Year 12 students, who embraced their final event with enthusiasm, dressing up, competing, and making the most of the day. A special congratulations goes to Sienna Mc (Year 12), who was crowned Individual Year Level Swimming Champion—an incredible achievement she has earned every year since starting at Clonard!

Unfortunately, the Clonard Gift was not swum on the day, but after reviewing the fastest times, the title was awarded to Stella H (Year 12, Xavier House) with an impressive time of 31.21 seconds.

As always, our House Captains put in an incredible amount of hard work and preparation, ensuring every student was in the right place at the right time and that our relay teams were complete and ready to compete. A huge thank you also goes to our dedicated staff, whose efforts behind the scenes helped the day run seamlessly.
