In this unit students discover what it means to be financially literate, through a variety of hands on workshops that cover a variety of topics including: the world of money, how to set a budget and save, introduction to the share-market, personal loans, borrowing power and how repayments work. Students will learn new financial literacy skills and banking jargon to ensure they are not only better prepared for choosing their preferred VCE Humanities subject but at the same time equipping themselves to tackle the challenges of finance in the real world.
