Clonard College invites all parents and carers to this Family engagement evening with Psychologist and author Joanne Garfi.
Joanne has worked extensively across primary and secondary schools providing treatment, support and specialised training to whole school communities and has a special interest in the treatment of Anxiety, Panic Disorder, school refusal, childhood anxiety, behavioural disorders and developmental issues.
Global and Australian research identifies a clear relationship between attendance and achievement. Improvements in student’s attendance is connected to positive wellbeing and improved student learning outcomes. Please take the opportunity to join us.

For those of you unable to join us on this evening the State Government is offering families an opportunity to view a selection of FREE online, view at your own discretion modules, that focus upon teen anxiety with a particular emphasis upon encouraging resilience and confidence in your young person. This is an opportunity to build a stronger bond with your child and hopefully develop a better understanding of what’s within your control to change and influence for your teenager’s benefit. There is a Fear/-less Triple P online module focussing upon anxious 6 – 14 year old students and the Teen Triple-P Online Module targeting 10 – 16 year old students.
