
We invite and welcome applications for Casual Assistant Exam Supervisors to join our supervision team, commencing in June 2025.
You will be required to supervise students completing the General Achievement Test (GAT), trial exams and/or Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority External Assessments/Exams. These exams take place during, June, October, and November 2025.
Aside from attributes required of supervisors, the VCAA stipulates a set of eligibility requirements. In order to apply, you must meet each of them. You must NOT be:
- Related to or associated with any student required to sit the GAT or any student undertaking VCE Units 3/4 study. This includes relatives, neighbours, work, club/sport associates
- Someone who has taught VCE Units 1–2 and/or 3–4 in the last two years AT THIS SCHOOL.
- Teaching or tutoring any student required to sit the GAT or any student in VCE Units 3/4 study
- Related to or associated with any person engaged in teaching, tutoring or coaching any students required to sit the GAT or any student undertaking VCE units 3/4 study, or any school personnel engaged in organising or checking VCE external assessment materials on behalf of a school
- Employed at our school in any other capacity, including as a teacher, casual relief teacher (CRT) or a member of the Professional Services staff.
About You
- Have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or VIT
- Meet ALL the eligibility requirements
- Available, all day on Tuesday June 17th and on a date TBC to receive compulsory training (paid)
- Strong attention to detail – administrative and interpersonal
- Are able to follow specific written instructions without deviating eg read from a script
- Will comply with all VCAA rules and policies
- Confident monitoring others
- Organised and efficient
- Will sign a statutory declaration confirming eligibility.
