The Brigidine Asylum Seeker Project (BASP) is one of a number of projects in Australia that seek to support asylum seekers. The Brigidine sisters who operate the Project aim to provide hospitality and practical support for asylum seekers. This Christmas they will be supporting a growing number of families, trying to give them a special end to what has been a difficult year. BASP is desperate for donations of food and gifts that can be given to families in need.
Clonard is aiming to collect non-perishable food items to develop Christmas food hampers that can be given to families to make their Christmas a little bit more special. Any support you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be placed in the box in the foyer of the school office or handed to Wellbeing teachers.
