On Tuesday May 27 the Click Clack Club took an excursion to Wallace Lodge Aged Care. We took 10 students from Years 7 – 9 and had a delightful afternoon working with the residents. Eva, Elsie, Maddi, Georgia, Tilly, Charlotte, Makena, Charlie, Isla and Izzy were absolutely wonderful and engaged with the residents in their craft activity, shared some our groups crochet and knitting work, and created many conversations. Izzy was able to play for them as well and it was a real treat for all. Edita (one of the residents) once more had many squares that she had completed for us to add to the rugs we are working on for Saltbush. It was just so lovely to see the young, and not so young enjoying each other’s company.

Thanks to Lisa AR and all the students for continuing to nurture this important community connection activity.

Wonderful work!
