Our inaugural visit of the Click Clack Club to Wallace Lodge Aged Care was terrific on Tuesday afternoon. Year 7 students – Leni, Sophie and Mia & Year 8 students – Isla, Georgia, Isabel and Alyssa represented the College beautifully. They interacted with the residents with genuine warmth, care and joy. We took our crochet and knitting and worked with them in the communal area. We have even left 2 ladies with wool and projects to keep going with! Sophie and Isla played their guitars – it is not easy to perform anywhere completely solo and they just did it without any fuss. The residents really loved their performances and were singing along. It was just a joy to be a part of. I would like to thank the College for their support of this initiative and Lisa Armstrong-Rowe for her continuing support of the Click Clack Club. She is doing an amazing job of bringing all the knitted and crocheted squares together! So far, we have 2 beautiful rugs being created. Wonderful effort team and thank you again for bringing such joy to Wallace Lodge.
