Our Year 12 Living Justly leaders, Emma and Mieka, oversaw another Community Cook-up last week at Clonard. On Wednesday after school, 24 student volunteers, doing their best ‘Master Chef’ impersonations, created over 50 meals for the Clonard community. These meals, comprising of beef and vegetable Shepherds Pies and Vegan Shepherd’s Pies, will now be frozen and distributed to families in need.
A special thanks to our Food Studies wiz Ms Ellmer, who not only set up the ingredient stations but also oversaw the talented cooks as they worked for about 90 minutes to cook and then wash and clean- up.
