STRINGS TEACHER
Clonard Music Department would like to acknowledge the contribution made by Felicity McCowan our Strings Teacher who has taught Strings at Clonard for the past eight years. Felicity was warmly farewelled at the end of last term by students and staff. Felicity has done a wonderful job teaching Strings and will be greatly missed by our students and Music staff. We would like to thank Felicity and wish her and her family well for the future.
In Term 2 we are pleased to welcome Mae Udarbe as our Strings teacher. Mae comes to us with experience as a Strings teacher, performer and sound designer. Mae has previously taught Strings at Geelong Grammar. Welcome Mae!
GEELONG SCHOOLS COMBINED BAND DAY 11 MAY
Clonard Concert Band will be performing at the Combined Band Day on Thursday 11 May at Kardinia College Geelong, at the Katsumata Cente commencing at 6.30pm. All welcome to attend and cheer our brilliant musicians on!
TERM 2 MUSIC PERFORMANCES AT CLONARD
Instrumental Music Performance Evening (Private Students, Thursday 25 May 5.00 – 7.00pm, Kildare Theatre).
A reminder that our Instrumental Performances for our Private students will be held in Kildare Theatre on Thursday 25 May between 5.00 – 7.00pm. Parents and students are invited to come along and meet your students’ teachers and hear students perform.
Ensemble Music Performance Evening (Tuesday 13 June 5.00 – 7.00pm Kildare Theatre).
The Ensemble Performances for 2023 will take place in the Kildare Theatre from 5.00 – 7.00pm on Tuesday 13 June and will feature performances from our Year 7 students, Year 9 and Year 11 Music students as well as our Choir, Rock Band, Concert Band and String Ensemble. All welcome.
