On Tuesday 16 May the morning of the Cross Country we saw the rain clouds open but by mid-morning the track was dry and the House Cross Country ready to race.
Students in Years 7 to 10 all took part in the 3km event either running or walking. For many of our Year 12 students who were involved this was their final House sporting event at Clonard. It was also great to see teaching staff running the course. We are lucky to have the Gabrielle Blythe track at our doorstep.
A huge thank you to the staff for their continued support and work behind the scenes in getting the many jobs done to ensure that all students are aware of what to do. Thanks, must also go to Abbey B for sign posting the neighbourhood alerting them to our upcoming event and for helping out with all the check points. A great bike ride by Ms Nykios for leading the runners around the course.
