On the school holidays Lucy and Anastazia competed at the Emerging Matilda’s Championship in NSW for Football Victoria’s U16 Victoria white team. We were there for a week competing against all the other states, to try to win the trophy and to become the best state in Australia. The reason for this tournament is to hopefully get seen by Football Australia scouts and get picked to represent Australia in further Matilda’s camps and squads.
