The Ensemble Performance Evening on June 11 was a hit!

Thanks to the Clonard Concert Band conducted by Mr Cox who kicked off the evening performing two entertaining instrumental pieces, the Theme from Jurassic Park and Bonny Shore.

The Clonard Rock band led by our guitar teacher Adam Corless gave a blazing performance of Nirvana’s song, Smells like Teen Spirit.

Our VCE, Unit 3 & 4 Repertoire violin student, Livinia R showed great musical prowess performing two pieces with accompanist Sonya Mason.

The String Ensemble led by Ms Udarbe, performed Hungarian Dance 5 which got our toes tapping.

Jacqueline K our VET Music student (celebrating her birthday) played stirring drums on Harry Styles song, Woman.

The Clonard Choir performed a Taylor Swift song, Shake It Up.

Evie R and Yu Ru T sang two songs beautifully and played piano and guitar.

Sienna L moved us all with a great version of Hopelessly Devoted to you. Sienna is starring in the Quad school musical hosted by Clonard this year, The Addams Family at GPAC on July 25-27.

Thanks to all our musicians, teachers, friends, parents, and supporters who came out on Tuesday evening to hear our Year 7 Blue, 7 Green and 7 Purple play together on their drums and percussion, clarinets and saxophones, trumpets and trombones, flutes, violins and cellos. The finale, Let’s Rock lifted the roof! Well done Year 7 and thank you to your teachers, Mr Cox, Mr Gosbell, Ms Hobbs, Mr Greet and Ms Udarbe.
