Mr Michael McCallum
Mr McCallum is a familiar face for most after having spent 15 years teaching at Clonard and holding numerous positions including VCE and Year 12 Coordinator. Currently, Mr McCallum is the College’s Timetable Administrator, undertaking the complex task of creating timetables for all students and staff based on subject selections and teaching allotments.
Mr McCallum’s passion for the Humanities at the Senior level has seen him guide many students through their VCE in his specialist areas of Legal Studies and Australian History. Many will have lasting memories of visits to Barwon and Castlemaine Prison or Sovereign Hill as co-curricular opportunities outside of the classroom, along with trips to East Timor with Mr McCallum.
He has also set a great example in the past for the rest of us, in his commitment to sustainability and a healthy lifestyle by jumping on his bike and commuting to and from Clonard – he hopes to return to this two-wheel mode of transport once school resumes. Great work, Mr McCallum! Pictured with another Clonard great, Miss Higgins!
