Celebrating Creativity: Visual Arts Students Step Into the Fashion Spotlight
Clonard College premier Year 12 Art Making and Exhibiting students recently had the incredible opportunity to witness the future of Australian fashion at the National Graduate Showcase x Emporium Melbourne. The parade was an exciting, whimsical and extraordinarily playful runway, seeing the top 12 graduate designers, hand-picked from Australia’s leading fashion design institutions, challenge fashion boundaries and inspire awe.
Accompanied by our dedicated Art Teacher Sally Gray and Art Technician Danyl Lunardelli, the class experienced an unforgettable night of inspiration. They saw firsthand what’s possible through hard work, creativity, and vision, connecting with industry professionals and witnessing fashion pushed to its limits.
For our students, this event was more than a runway show — it was a glimpse into their own potential. The Visual Arts Department is working hard to build this subject and create opportunities for our girls to make a real impact in the art and design world. Experiences like this remind students that their creative voices are powerful and that they can help shape the future of the industry.
We’re incredibly proud of our students for embracing this opportunity and encourage everyone to support emerging designers by voting in the Community Choice award. NATIONAL GRADUATE SHOWCASE X EMPORIUM MELBOURNE — PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival
