Clonard College alumni, Kgshak Akec has had her novel, Hopeless Kingdom longlisted for the prestigious 2023 Miles Franklin Award.
This is an amazing honour for Kgshak and she is the first Clonard student to be long listed for the Miles Franklin.
The short list for the Miles Franklin award for 2023 will be announced on 20 June with the winner announced on 25 July.
The winner will receive $60,000.00.
