I attended Clonard from 1998-2003. While at Clonard my favourite subjects were Art, Studio Art, Vis Comm and English. Dean Williams had a huge influence on my desire to study Visual Communications. He really believed in me and encouraged me to pursue my talents at University.

It’s hard to believe that two decades have gone by since I finished up at Clonard!
So much has happened during this time, I finished my Bachelor Degree in Visual Arts in 2006 at The University of Ballarat (now known as Federation University Australia). At the time it was one of Victoria’s best Visual Arts courses and I was very lucky to be accepted into this course. Upon graduation, I landed a job at a boutique design agency in Geelong, where I went on to work for 13 years. During this time, I was also slowly building my profile as a professional artist on the side. Once my two children were born I no longer had the time to balance a full time job, my artwork and looking after two small children – it was time to fly solo!

These days, I have one child at primary school and one still at home with me, I work two days a week while my youngest is at kinder.  I work as both a freelance designer and an artist from my home studio near the beach in Ocean Grove.

I have been lucky enough to work with some pretty big names such as ADIDAS, NAB bank, William Angliss, Myer and Alpha H. Last year I collaborated with Cote des Roses which saw my artwork roll out globally.

Currently I am holidaying in Bali, pinching myself that I can sit here by the pool and work while my children play in the sunshine at the pool. I am grateful for my families lifestyle every single day. I worked really hard to have this kind of flexibility, but I also am fully aware of how lucky I am.

My core group of friends are Clonard girls, and while we all live vastly different lives, some in different states, some in different countries, we are still all the best of friends. I’m truly thankful for my Clonard days.
