Rerum Novarum Awards

Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools and the Rerum Novarum Foundation have announced the winners of the inaugural Rerum Novarum Awards.
 
Students in Years 10 to 12 were asked to address a social justice issue in their community, applying the principles of Catholic social teaching to their project.
 
The 2020 Year 11 VCAL class were awarded third place for their proposal to establish a large digital wall mural that encompasses the social justice issues of diversity, mental health and Indigenous and Refugee issues.
