St Brigid’s Garden has continued to grow while everyone is away from school in ISO. Hundreds of kiwi fruits have been waiting on the vine, ready to harvest. We usually harvest in April or May and share them within the Clonard .
They are used in the kitchen in creative recipes or shared with staff. however this year has created a slight dilemma – what will we do with all of these kiwi fruits? Thankfully a couple of our local food banks in Geelong were more than happy to receive our produce.
We are so grateful that several boxes of kiwi fruits were able to be harvested and shared with Geelong Food Relief and Empow+r foodbank.
