Clonard Enviro Week 25 – 29 July 2022
Stay tuned for Enviro Week next Term with lots of activities planned…Clothes Swap, Regenerating Australia Film, celebrating National Tree Day with local planting, a guest speaker from Sea Shepherd, Recycled Sculpture launch.
The Sustainability Team will be organising a Clothes Swap for Enviro Week (week 3) next Term, so we would love it if over the holidays, everyone could start looking through their clothes for anything that doesn’t fit or isn’t worn but is still in good condition.
We will be collecting everyone’s clothing in the first two weeks of Term (more information to follow). Please bring what you can.
For every item you donate, you will receive one ticket. Tickets can then be exchanged for a piece of clothing of your choice. ♻️ Help break the fast fashion cycle ♻️
All items welcome, including tops, pants, jewellery, bags or any other clothing or accessories, in good condition.
Young Reporters for the Environment Competition
The Young Reporters for the Environment competition (YRE) aims to empower young people aged 11 – 25 to take a stand on environmental issues that they feel strongly about and to give them a platform to articulate these issues through the media of writing, photography or video. Students are also asked to link their projects to one of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
