The Year 10 French students experienced a display of light, colour and stirring soundscapes, as they stepped inside the world of the French Impressionists at the The Lume in Melbourne recently.
The exhibition Monet & Friends is a breathtaking multi-sensory experience showcasing the most influential and fascinating period in modern art – Impressionism. Set against the backdrop of 19th-century Paris this beautiful digital gallery of artworks unveils the work of renowned ground-breaking artists including Monet Cézanne Renoir and Manet. Whether we were surrounded by Monet’s famous Water Lilies, posing on the Bridge over a pond of water lillies, or stepping inside Degas’ ballet studio, everyone felt connected to the positivity of the Belle Epoque.
