Last week as part of the Year 11 Connection Day, past collegian Laura Thistlethwaite returned to speak to students about her path since leaving Clonard. She spoke fondly of her time at Clonard, saying she was grateful for the many opportunities that she had available to her during her school years. Laura was school captain in her final year and had dreams to become a sports journalist. While she started down this path, seven years since leaving Clonard, her path has taken a new direction. You can read about what Laura has been up to in this newsletters Where Are They Now series article. The biggest take home message for our students on Thursday was to embrace all the opportunities Clonard has to offer and give everything a go. Thanks, Laura, for taking the time inspire the next generation of Clonard girls!

The Year 11 students also got to enjoy an African drumming workshop where they got to learn some rhythm drumming techniques.
