On Wednesday 26 February the people completing VCE English in Year 11 had the privilege of watching a play adaption of the play we are studying – Medea.
Medea is a Greek tragedy that involves the power and role of women, so it was very fitting for us to study. The play was intriguing, enticing, and entertaining, and it really made a difference watching a live performance instead of studying and reading words only.
At the end of the performance, the cast members answered questions, which furthered our thinking and got us prepared for the upcoming SAC. This was an amazing experience for our year level to be involved in.
