Last week, our Year 12s enjoyed the opportunity to be on Retreat at Rutherford Park in Blampied. Participating in small and larger groups, students had the chance to have time away from their ‘every day’ to reflect on significant relationships and personal experiences, to build a positive self-image, and to explore the presence of God in their lives.
They are immersed in the chance to take time out and to enjoy being with each other, talking to others that they see every day and do not have a chance to mix with.
The activities give them opportunity to be peaceful, reflective, and genuine with themselves and their friends, to consider the past, be present in the moment and to consider their futures.
