Earlier this week, the Year 7 and 8 Connection Conversations were held online with students’ and their families and wellbeing teachers. These brief conversations are a great opportunity to stay connected, build relationships and provide an overall check in for students, families, and wellbeing teachers. Term 3 Connection Conversations provide the opportunity to reflect on a student’s wellbeing, learning goals and school transition for 2023, and to celebrate achievements to date.
Student reflection from Year 8 student, Claudia Pote: “I think having the Connection Conversations is a very good idea, and important thing. Not only does it make students feel more connected to the school, but it helps teachers understand their students and how they are traveling at Clonard. I like having the Connection Conversations because I got to talk about the struggles and achievements that I have faced this term so far.’
