The Bebras Australia Computational Thinking Challenge will take place from 7– 21 September 2020. Bebras is a great way to engage students In Mathematics in collaborative, creative, and critical thinking.
The goal of the Bebras Challenge is to promote computational thinking skills in a way that highlights student abilities.
The challenge is made up of 15 questions ranging in difficulty.
Students in years 5 to 12 have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
Students complete the challenge in one sitting at anytime within the two week challenge period.
After the challenge has closed, students can log in to view their results, re-attempt questions and receive immediate feedback on their answers.
The students in Mr Houlihan’s Year 8 Maths class practised some problems from previous competitions using the Bebras 365 website and reflected on some of the questions they attempted.
