- Year 8
In Humanities this Term for Year 8, we are learning about landforms and landscapes. In this topic, we were given the opportunity to work with our friends to create a volcano outside of school.
While making this volcano we learnt how volcanos could erupt in various ways. We also learned about the different hazards that come with the eruption of a volcano. We were taught about how the forming of a volcano happens and what it’s like on the inside.
To make this project work we had to decide independently who we were going to work well with and get the job done. In the period of time, we were given we had to produce a prize-winning volcano in doing this we learnt the importance of teamwork and creativity.
Overall, we really enjoyed the hands-on experience and fun while presenting our erupting volcanoes.
