Last week, instead of the traditional camp with nights away, the Year 9 students got to experience three different ‘day’ camps, where they each visited the Bush, Beach and City on a different day.

On the Bush Camp, students visited the beautiful Anakie Gorge, where they explored the Gorge and local fauna and flora, walked up to the dam, learnt the safe way to make fires and had a picnic lunch.

On the Beach Camp, students headed down to Angelsea where they went canoeing on the river and then explored the local rock formations on a coastal walk.

The City Camp was alot of fun, with students heading off to Melbourne, where visited ACMI and Federation Square, then walked along Southbank and finished the day with a little bit of retail therapy at DFO South Wharf.

Thank you to all the teachers and staff involved in organising and coordinating the three camps and making them happen.
