The Year 9 Outdoor Ed have had an eventful semester that has required patience and resilience. After dangerous weather postponed their camp they had to deal with the uncertainty for changing to a new date and changing location. Eventually they got camp off the group I week 6 travelling to Mount Cole, Ararat to explore the state reserve. They experienced all types of weather and walked a massive 27km over 3 days!
To wrap up the term their last excursion was to Queenscliff where they were taken out onto Port Phillip Bay by Sea All Dolphin Tours. They were blessed with low winds and sunshine for the morning, within 10min of heading out onto the bay Dolphins were spotted, a rare and exciting sighting! Students were given the opportunity to snorkel with pods of dolphins and seals as well as participate in fun activities on the boat.
