Environmental change is a core focus of year 10 geography, and how environmental, economic and technological factors can impact upon different types of environments. A comparison of environmental change in Australia and another country will be studied. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s approach to environmental management is investigated, as well as management techniques used by governments.
Year 10 geography focuses on how human wellbeing is measured by different countries, and how population distribution impacts on living standards. A single country is studied in detail to see how the country’s development impacts on the wellbeing of its population, and how governments are trying to improve wellbeing.
