And the people came back to school

Since the beginning of term, Mrs Quinn has kept the members of our Clonard community present at school by lighting a candle each day in her office waiting for the time we would all be together once more.

Today, that candle made it’s way to the front of Clonard house where Mrs Quinn was joined by representatives of each year level. Together they lit a new fire that brings strength, courage and warmth of the light back to a central place.

Throughout the day, students and staff were provided with a Clonard figure that they could make their own and placed it in the grass outside Clonard house.

As we cannot gather together in one space, these figures represent our 1000+ strong community united together again in strength and kindliness.
