It was a big week in football this week for Clonard with both our Junior and Intermediate teams winning their respective matches in the GISSA competition.

The Clonard Intermediate Football team (Years 9 and 10) won the grand final and are now going through to the next round in Term 3, representing Geelong. An enormous achievement.

Congratulations to Year 9 student, Stella Huxtable for winning Best on Ground in the Intermediate division and Year 8 student, Ava Bilyk in the Junior division.

Whilst the Clonard Junior Football team (Years 7 and 8) made it into the grand final against Sacred Heart, where they were able to secure a comfortable win and take out the competition.

Thanks also to Kimberly Irvine, Katelyn Irvine and Aisha Cajayon who assisted with umpiring on the day.

Looking forward to Term 3 competition.
