This month’s school wide focus for Positive Behaviour 4 Learning (PB4L) at Clonard is on the expectation of Engagement and the skill of submitting work on time. Submitting work on time is an essential habit for success, both in school and in the work force, and as such it’s important that our students develop their strategies and build the habit while they are at school, especially in the years leading up to the senior school. All of our students, with the exception of the Year 12s who are now coming to the culmination of their secondary studies, will undertake a lesson on why this skill is important, examine some strategies for having success before completing a planning exercise to ensure they are ready to have their upcoming work submitted on time. Here are just a few of the reasons why submitting work on time is important.
