Community Notice: Temporary Road Crossing Works on Minerva Road
Please be advised that road crossing works are currently underway on Minerva Road. These works are expected to impact traffic conditions, particularly during the first two weeks of the school term.
The council has scheduled these works, which will be located outside the Clonard College car park.
During this time, there may be some disruptions and delays, particularly during school drop-off and pick-up times. Both McHarry’s and CDC drivers have been informed about the works and will be aware of any potential delays.
As part of the works program, the indented bus stop on Minerva Rd for northbound buses will be temporarily closed. However, an alternative stop will be set up approximately 100 meters prior, as indicated by the green bus icon on the attached map.
Parents are advised that limited parking is available on Murphy’s Avenue, please avoid this area where possible. We encourage you to consider parking a few streets away and allowing your child to walk the remaining distance to school. This will help reduce traffic congestion and minimise delays associated with these works.
Please allow extra travel time to ensure the safety and timely arrival of all students, we kindly ask all motorists and pedestrians to exercise extra caution and patience while navigating this area.
