Opening Mass

Opening Mass at the Arena in Geelong saw our choir perform with the staff band for the liturgy. The song Lanterns had all students singing along at the end of the ceremony.

Open Mic on the Lawn, Clonard House for International Women’s Day

On International Women’s Day out the front of Clonard house we had many students take part in Karaoke. It was a beautiful sunny day and the students enjoyed singing along under the shade of the pine trees.

Recording Session for Clonard Singers at Kilbreda College, Mentone

Clonard Singers, Annie R, Sienna L, Ruby S, Chloe K, and Yu Ran T were selected for the Kildare Education Ministries recording of the upcoming Conference song in Melbourne at Kilbreda College, in Mentone. They recorded the song especially written for the conference. The KM Conference is taking place next week all over Australia. Our Principal, Luci Quinn, accompanied the students to the recording in Melbourne.

The Addams Family

The Quad School musical, The Addams Family is shaping up to be a great show. Our Director, Charlotte Crowley has been working with our actors and I have been working with our vocalists, and Ms Ferrarese has been working with the dancers. The Addams Family will be performed at Geelong Arts Centre (GAC) on July 25 – 27.

Top Arts

Our VCE students are attending Top Acts at the Recital Centre in Melbourne on Thursday. These are some of the best VCE student musicians from 2024. Clonard will travel down with Kardinia College and other Geelong secondary school music students.

Instrumental Music Lessons (Private lessons)

We offer Instrumental Music lessons here at Clonard during the school week. Our instrumental teachers are well qualified and work in the industry as well as teaching here at school.
