On Monday, the Year 11 French headed to Melbourne, where they explored and immersed themselves into art and history at THE LUME via the vibrant works of Vincent van Gogh, and multi-sensory tour of the Netherlands, Paris, Arles, Saint Rémy and Auvers-sur-Oise. We had the chance to step inside The Bedroom and be surrounded by Van Gogh’s glorious Starry Night, as well as witness the uniquely recreated Café Terrace 1888 evoking the flavours of nineteenth-century France. Surprises galore in this symphony of colour, sound, taste and aroma – seeing the captivating world of Van Gogh in a whole new light.
