What a wonderful three days we had recently at the Year 7 Lake Dewar Lodge Encounter.

Apart from experiencing new and exciting activities for the first time, students came home knowing many more Year 7’s than before their time away. These new connections, and blossoming new friendships, continued once back at Clonard.

Once again, the Lake Dewar Lodge staff were awesome, pushing and encouraging the students to move out of their comfort zone. The Jetty Jump was one such example. Jumping into dark, deep, and cold water was not high on the agenda for several students. However, with encouragement and some support, into the water they went.

The weather was kind, the food was awesome, and the students fully engaged in all the camp activities. It was a fun and memorable experience which provided many happy memories.

A huge thanks to the wonderful Clonard staff who attended and supported throughout the time away.
