Year 7 Parent Welcome Evening

On Thursday, 11 February from 6-7pm, we are conducting the Year 7 ‘Parent Welcome Evening’ at the College.

This is a terrific opportunity for Parents/Carers to meet Year 7 Wellbeing Teachers and other key staff members, to connect with other families of Year 7 students, and spend time with the Wellbeing Teachers who will outline some key aspects about transition and life at Clonard.  Students are not required to attend as this evening is designed for the adults however, we understand if there is no alternative option for you child/children’s supervision.

The format of the evening will be as follows:

6:00 – 6:15pm: Meet and mingle at the canteen area.  You will receive a name tag upon arrival to be worn for the evening. Tea/coffee/cold drinks (including the famous Clonard cookie) will be available.

6:15 – 6:45pm: Your daughter’s Wellbeing Teacher will escort you to a classroom where a PowerPoint has been prepared to share key information regarding transition and other important aspects of school life at Clonard. During this time, questions can be asked.

6:45 – 7:00pm: This will be a time to chat informally with your daughter’s Wellbeing Teacher if you still have any questions that need answering (Wellbeing Teachers can also be contacted via email if there are ever any questions or concerns).

Parking is available in the Clonard staff carpark off Minerva Rd.

Below is a link to a form to determine numbers for the evening. Could you please complete and submit the form by Tuesday, 9th February.
