Year 8 Expo: My Place – First Nations

Please find information related to our ‘My Place – First Nations’ – Year 8 Expo being held on Tuesday 8 June between 3.45pm and 6pm.  Students will facilitate the afternoon and we would like to see as many families as possible attend this event.  

The event will show case and celebrate the work completed across subject areas including English, Food Technology, Science, Wellbeing, Art, and Physical Education.  Students have contributed to all areas and learnt about the importance of First Nations and their stories.  In learning about this work students have created their own stories of belonging and connection which will be shared at the event.

The afternoon will be a celebration of the work and focus students have demonstrated over the Semester.  We will also be providing a BBQ and an official Welcome to Country will be held at approximately 4.15pm.
